This Hurst Indy shifter fits as a direct replacement for the factory unit fitted to Ford Mustang S550 equipped with the 6-speed MT-82 manual transmission. Designed to reduce shifter travel by 18%, it provides faster, firmer and more precise gear changes. This complete short shifter delivers a sportier driving feel while retaining the original reverse lockout system and its pull-up operation. Supplied complete and ready to install, the kit combines a stainless steel shifter, a polyurethane rear bushing that limits unwanted movement, a black Hurst round shift knob displaying the 6-speed shift pattern, and all the hardware required for installation.
